How to Uninstall the Zoom App
If you need to disconnect the Zoom integration from your MentorSimply account, this guide will walk you through the process. Uninstalling the Zoom app will remove the connection between your MentorSimply and Zoom accounts.
Before You Begin
Important: Before disconnecting Zoom, please note:
- Any scheduled Zoom meetings will remain in your Zoom account
- Future appointments set as "Zoom Meetings" in MentorSimply will need to be updated
- You will need to manually provide meeting links for any appointments after disconnection
Disconnection Steps
1. Access Integrations Settings
- Log in to your MentorSimply dashboard
- Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu
- Choose the Integrations tab from the left sidebar
2. Disconnect Zoom
- In the Integrations page, find the Zoom card
- The card should show "Connected" with a green indicator
- Click the Disconnect button
- A confirmation dialog will appear
- Click Confirm to disconnect the integration
3. Verify Disconnection
After confirming, the Zoom card should update to show "Connect" instead of "Disconnect," indicating that the integration has been successfully removed.
Revoking Access in Zoom
For complete security, we also recommend revoking access from your Zoom account:
- Log in to your Zoom account
- Navigate to App Marketplace > Manage
- Find the MentorSimply app in your installed apps
- Click Uninstall
- Confirm the uninstallation
Updating Scheduled Appointments
After disconnecting Zoom, you should:
- Review your upcoming appointments in the MentorSimply calendar
- For any appointments set as "Zoom Meetings":
- Edit the appointment
- Change the meeting type or manually add a meeting link
- Save the updated appointment
Reconnecting in the Future
If you wish to reconnect the Zoom integration later:
- Follow the installation guide to reconnect
- All settings will need to be reconfigured
