Creating Group Packages
If your organization offers group sessions, a group package lets you meet several students together in one MentorSimply Video room.
How Group Sessions Work
- Session format: When you create or edit a package, set Session format to Group session and choose Students per session (2 to 9, plus you as the host)
- You create the sessions: Students don't book group packages themselves. From Meetings, create a group meeting, pick the package, and add the students
- Who you can add: Students you already work with, through a booking, an active subscription, or as their assigned mentor
- Covering each seat: A student with an active monthly subscription to the package uses one session from their allowance. Anyone else joins only when you add them as a free seat
- Joining: Each student gets an email and a notification with their own join link. You join the room as the host
- Leaving: Students can leave a session before it starts, and any allowance session it used is returned
- Recording: Recording and AI notes run only when you turn them on and every student in the room allows it. If anyone declines, recording stops for the rest of that session
